INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Collected and processed in connection with your conference registration

Dear Participant,

In accordance with Article 23 of the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 87/2018) („the Law“), Biznislink d.o.o. Belgrade, acting as the data controller, hereby provides you with the following information Regarding the processing of your personal data.

  2. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
    Your personal data are processed primarily for the purpose of administering your conference
    registration and fulfilling the contractual obligations related to your participation.
    Your personal data may also be processed for the purposes of:
    – improving and evaluating the quality of our services;
    – providing information related to the conference;
    – distributing conference recordings, presentations, educational materials, workshop materials, panel discussions, and other conference content, with or without charge, to individuals interested in the topics covered by the conference.
    Personal data are processed where such processing is:
    – necessary for the performance of a contract;
    – based on your consent; or
    – based on the legitimate interests of the Data Controller.
  3. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING
    During INFOFEST, photographs, audio recordings and video recordings may be created in order to document the event and promote future editions of the conference. Such materials may include images or recordings in which participants are identifiable and may be published through the Organizer’s communication channels, including the official website, social media platforms, promotional videos, printed publications, press releases and other marketing materials.

    The processing of such personal data is based on the legitimate interest of the Organizer in documenting and promoting its activities, in accordance with the applicable personal data protection legislation.

    If a participant believes that a particular photograph or recording disproportionately affects their rights or interests, they may contact the Organizer using the contact details provided above, and the request will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  4. LEGITIMATE INTEREST
    Biznislink d.o.o. may process your personal data on the basis of its legitimate interest for the purposes of evaluating, improving, and developing its conference services. To ensure fair and transparent processing, we also provide the following information.
  5. DATA RETENTION
    Your personal data will be retained:
    – for the period necessary to organize and administer the conference and fulfill the purposes for which the data were collected;
    – for the period prescribed by applicable laws governing accounting and financial records relating to payments made in connection with conference participation.
  6. YOUR RIGHTS
    In accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:
    – request access to your personal data;
    – request the correction of inaccurate personal data;
    – request the deletion of your personal data, where applicable;
    – request the restriction of processing;
    – request data portability;
    – object to the processing of your personal data.
    Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
    Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
    If you believe that the processing of your personal data has been carried out contrary to the applicable legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.
  7. PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA
    Providing your personal data is a necessary condition for registering for the conference.
    Should we intend to process your personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were originally collected, we will inform you in advance of the new purpose of processing and provide all other relevant information required under applicable data protection legislation before such processing begins.
